I once tried to create a full-scale automotive site — one complete with automatically-importing vehicle feeds which would need to categorize the vehicles under multiple dealerships — and that didn’t work so well in WordPress. Although part of that was likely my lack of technical knowledge at the time. But just using plugins and basic edits to the WordPress code wasn’t enough to get the job done.
